Joost Coutinho (1960) knows the island like no one else. In 1995, Joost was sworn in as a real estate agent/appraiser. Since 2010, he has been co-owner and director of Makelaardij Texel Vastgoed in Den Burg, where he also began his career. Joost was the first real estate agent on Texel to be registered with the SCVM in both the Residential and Commercial Real Estate registers.

Driven and knowledgeable, he guides private buyers and sellers as well as entrepreneurs through real estate transactions. “I find it a rewarding challenge every time to work on behalf of a client. Martin Trap (1965) was born and raised on Texel and is a well-known figure on the island. He began his real estate career in 2000 and soon after joined Makelaardij Texel Vastgoed. Since 2010, he has been co-owner and director, together with Joost Coutinho, of the island’s largest real estate agency.
